MANDATE: Create a packaging design showcasing 3 varieties of maple syrup with a self contained carrying case.
ESSENCE : En tant qu'entreprise familiale, il était important de créer quelque chose qui soit familier à la clientèle, tout en étant quelque chose qui attire les nouveaux clients.
ESSENCE: As a family-run business, it was important to create something that feels familiar to the clientele, while also being something that new customers would be drawn to.
IMPACT : Il était important que le nouvel emballage soit unique, tout en conservant la familiarité des canettes standard que tout le monde reconnaît. Conçu comme un kit d'échantillons de sirop d'érable, semblable aux échantillons de bière ou d'épices. Les catégories claire, moyenne et foncée sont identifiées par un numéro et une image du processus de production. Les bouteilles sont maintenues ensemble grâce à un élément en bois et à des languettes à tirer.
IMPACT: It was important that the new packaging be unique, but still have familiarity of the standard cans that everyone recognizes. Designed as a maple syrup sample kit, similar to beer or spice samples. The light, medium and dark grades are identified with a number and image of the production process. The bottles are kept together with a wooden feature and pull tabs.
